What to expect on your dogsledding outing

There’s no one single reason to love Mont-Tremblant dogsledding—there are many! It’s the adorable and energetic dogs, the stunning mountain panoramas, the contrast of the dark green trees and the pristine white snow. Experience part of Canadian heritage during this special winter adventure like no other.

Less than a 2-hour drive away, this is the perfect opportunity for dogsledding near Ottawa and Montreal. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life, and embrace winter to its fullest. Just five minutes away from Mont-Tremblant ski resort, this is the perfect activity to take your winter experience to the next level.win

Our experienced and knowledgeable guides will determine the teams of drivers and passengers (with the possibility to switch places during the trip) while children and/or seniors will ride with the guide. When the teams are ready, you’ll get a short safety briefing and learn how to command the dogs.

Once you’re out on the trails, enjoy the exhilaration as you pass through the picturesque winter forest. Feel the energy and excitement as the sled dogs pull you over the winding trails featuring fun ups and downs on the paths. If you’d like (and when possible) the driver and passenger can swap places at the halfway point to make it a complete experience.

Afterwards, we’ll regroup inside our heated yurt (a Mongolian style round tent!) and warm up as we sip on piping hot chocolate and indulge in some cookies. You’ll also have the possibility to buy photos on-site and leave your dogsledding experience with a token to remember. For those particularly interested in spending additional time with the dogs, usually at the end of the activity, you will have time to brush the dogs and give them treats and when possible – the puppies!
