What to expect on your dogsledding outing

Experience a unique VIP dog sledding excursion. Upon arrival, lunch will be served in our warm yurt (soup, bread, beer, or wine). Afterward, our guides will give you a security briefing and you will then be ready to meet your excited team of dogs.

If you have a specific request as to the position you wish to take on the sled, please let our guides know upon arrival as they will be deciding the best positions for everyone on the sleds. There is one driver and one or two passengers per sled. Adults have the chance to drive their own sled (unless decided otherwise) and will usually have 1 adult passenger. About halfway through the excursion, drivers and passengers can switch positions if they wish to. Our guides will also decide if children will ride as passengers with the guide or on their parents’ sled.

Once your team is ready to go, you will head off in wooded, winding, and hilly terrain as well as wide open fields near frozen lakes. While this excursion is perfect for beginners, you will still experience a mix of physical and technical challenges. After approximately 1 hour on the trails, the activity ends with a nice cup of hot chocolate back at the yurt. This tour is for groups of 2 to 6 people.
